Remembering

I tried to post yesterday. Everything I started to say sounded flat. I did not loose anyone on 9/11, but I very easily could have. At that time, my dad took the train from New Jersey into the Trader Center every day. If he had gone to work that morning, my life would have been dramatically changed forever. As it is, I still can’t watch documentaries or shows about it, and I can barely read articles referencing the attacks. Of all the times I’ve been to New York since, I’ve never seen Ground Zero. But I don’t have to. Every September I remember what might have been…and everything that changed in this country forever.

To all of the employees of the WTC and the emergency workers who rushed in, and those who lost loved ones, we will never forget.
